Hi my names Matt I currently live in Glen Rock, But as of January 3rd ill be living In Fort Benning Georga, Im enlisted in the Army for four years active duity. I Have been a hanover rider ever since I bought my first cobalt yes ive gone through 2 so far.LOL The cobalt I drive now is getting ready for a LS1 swap I have a LS1 and a t56 tranny sitting in my garage. So that about me.

Thanks My cobalt is rice though I call it a hamburger burner.LOL I have fake carbon fiber mirrors and thats my only mod until the swap. because my sister crashed my car and ripped the right mirror off.

I will agree that my cobalt isnt fast because its the LT I got it just because its loaded with everything. But the ss's stock are good for about 14.1 stock wich isnt bad for a 4cyl. My cobalt is just a fun car I jump it ebrake it whatever I have a video ill post up if I can find it of me jumping my old cobalt about 3 foot at 105 mph in the air then bottemin out like no other. It just beat it like a red headed step child.

At least its not a ls. I might befor I leave hook up a 150 shot up to it to see how fast it goes befor it blows up. Ill sell tickets to fund the v8 swap. But if my plan goes off the way it looks on paper then im thinkin with a ls1 it would be good for low 12' high 11"s. so it wont be slow for long.

When I get my first amout of leave time the cobalt is gettin gutted. This is the shit you think of when the army Gives you $30,000 just to enlist. First I said I was going to buy a 2005 gto then I thought hey I can just put that motor in my car for cheaper. The ls1 and t56 cost me around 5 grand so far with 30,00 mi on it Now I just have to tub the back and make a full tube chassie and make a new firewall and the motor will fit in snug and its been done to cavys and the cobalt is bigger so Im all for it. Its about a year or two from bein done.
