Non-Turbo Engine

Hey I am working on a Non turbo engine here and Im not 100% sure on something and I figured I would ask my friends.

Ford Probe with an intake and one of the intake port coming from the side of the intake pipe is just sitting there open. I know on Evo/Turbo's all of your ports should be sealed up or capped if not being used. Is this the same with NA vehicles? It is after the MAF on the Intake Mani side.

if its the breather line going to the valve cover you can cover it up, and just have a breather on the valve cover where the line should connect (assuming it is that line)

how many other hoses are coming off the intake?

It sounds to me like it is either NOT the intake for that car or it should be hooked up to comething. It should be loosing HP by that hole being open

What brand is it ?

Generic advance auto. I don't see any lines just lieing there......No breather either! HAHA Say that ten times fast lol
