Interesting. Good info. But I'm guessing not a lot of people would pull out their tape measure to get most of those dimensions... We are lazy and like to be spoon fed what the damn offset is...

Determining Vehicle Fitment

I've got another few tips that might help those of you out there that don't like warping rotors, bending spindles, enjoy maintaining correct suspension geometry, and just plain feel like treating their car like it deserves.
On the below post, there's a spot that mentions the "tightening pattern" you want to follow when putting your wheels on. . .
Well, it doesn't elaborate well enough. Don't just slap it on and tighten those lugs on. Also, don't use air tools to tighten your lug nuts. Use hand tools and a torque wrench.
Start by hand tightening every single nut until you can't tighten them any more. Then proceed to tighten the nuts from the first to last in the pattern illustrated:

Tighten them with your torque wrench to your wheel manufacturers specs, and dont' go past them! If you don't use the correct pattern when tightening, you will create kinks in between lugs, and warp your rotors pretty quickly, and in bad cases you may even warp your wheels, spindles, and even bend your steering arms! Yuck!
And the reason you do not torque past the specs is that more isn't better here. . . if you go to far, you'll stretch your lugs, and crack and wedge the screw pattern. Using an air tool for tightening these lugs will do the same thing.
So please, follow correct procedure for your wheels whether you are a tech, a mechanic, or just at home changing your tires. After all, they are the only four points of contact between you and the road. Think about it. ;)
