wiring trouble

im installing a used Sony CDX-GT100 in my jeep, i got the ground, negitive, and one speaker hooked up(one works in the jeep), the old radio only had speakers, neg, and a ground. the new radio obviousl has more, (amp, antennae lead, illumination) the radio accepts and ejects CD's bt it wont turn on or play....
any advice?

hey jon the easiest way to check it is with a test light. You need the accesory wire (which is usually red or yellow it will have power when the ignition is on), power (which is usually red or yellow also constant power), and your ground which usually obviously is black. If you have a wiring diagram for the radio and jeep factory harness its pretty much gravy train from there. Try that and let me know.
