CEL frequency

Ok I want to know why when I reset my CEL it takes like 50-100 miles or even more sometimes to kick back on? If I am running lean to the point where I throw a code, then it should do it immediately.....shouldn't it? I am running lean on bank one and I can't clear it, I even tried to clean my MAF.

Can someone help me please?

my cel is on too. mine is definitely from my test pipe, but it did take a while for the light to actually come on. i guess because it has to run several tests to see if something is actually wrong. but if you are running lean, get some bigger fuel injectors, a walboro fuel pump, and the apexi neo safc. that way you will be able to fully control your a/f ratio.
