[SOLVED] New Lancer... whats your opinion?

Alright so I'm curious to see what everyone thinks of the new Lancer (non-evo). So post up those opinions and let it be heard....


Personally just like the Evo X I think they look like crap and are ugly. I think they have completely steered away from the look that really sky rocked the Evo/ Lancer line. Especially with the new Lancer it tooks blah to me. Granted a Lancer isn't an Evo, but when some mods it could be just as honorable as some Evo's. And now they just look like any other family sedan too me. I mean come on.. are we really getting to that point in our lives where we want more of a luxury looking car over out fun sporty looking cars we currently have? Are we really getting that old already? I know sure as fuck I'm not. Even when if buy a luxury like car oneday (probably a BMW) I'd still keep my Lancer and or Evo, because shit your only as old as you feel... right?

i think it looks far better than any previous iteration of the lancer.

i test drove one last year and actually liked it quite a bit. for what it is the car is surprisingly responsive and lively. you can feel the chassis stiffness when cornering, it feels very solid and planted.

i drove the manual, and the clutch was good. i struggled with it a bit at first, because i am used to a much stiffer pedal feel and more feedback on my evo, but really well done for a "normal" car.

the interior was comfortable and i think well equipted for the price range it is in.

it could use more power, but let's be honest, what production car couldn't?
